- ↑ Ebenezer is named after John in his father's probate documents, but the lists appear separated by gender, so it is difficult to assess his relative birth order with respect to Ruhamah. The marriage in 1703/4 suggests he was born before 1683. Ruhamah's estimate of about 1681 is based on age at death, which is often inflated, so it seems like Ebenezer is older than Ruhamah, hence his birth is estimated at about 1680, it seeming likely that Ruhamah's birth may be 1682 (if the age was 91st year instead of 91), or even later (if inflated out of awe of large numbers). This is consistent with the order shown in Bond, though he gives no estimates for the birth dates.
