[Note: this appears to have been erected (based on the regular spacing of entries), after the death of granddaughter Lizzie (Walker) Fletcher. As shown in the 1870 census, Ebenezer was a pauper, probably his estate could not afford a gravestone, and he did not die in 1869. So this appears to represent a certain amount of carelessness by his descendant(s), as reference to marriage, death and census records clearly give his name as Ebenezer. Nathan S Walker was a son of Ebenezer and hence, brother of Edwin, not father, b. 1812 and d. 1888 in Oakham where he has his own memorial with image.]
