    Will of "Ebenezer Garfield of Shrewsbury ... being Weak in Body", dated 6 Jul 1793, disallowed 3 Jul 1799, later proved 6 Aug 1799, names wife Mary Garfield; daughter Mary Garfield; son Abijah Garfield; son Daniel Garfield; daughter Rachal Hastings; grandchildren the children of daughter Esther Peirce; grandson Ebenezer Garfield. Friend Thomas Knowlton to be executor.
    3 Jun 1799: Assent of Mary Garfield, Ezra Hastings, Rachel Hastings and Abijah Garfield to proving of will.
    25 Jun 1799: Inventory of Ebenezer Garfield of Shrewsbuary late deceased: "$1122:5:0" [sic, header suggests this is dollars, cents and mills], by Ehp'm Lyon, Sam'l Brigham, David Brigham.
