Hawley): Ebenezer was especially remembered in a deed of gift from his father Thomas,—(Weth. Town Rec., IV, 33) 'for the natural love and affection which I have unto my loving son, Ebenezer, in considering he hath been so serviceable to me, and spent his time hitherto in being helpful to carry on and advance concerns for my subsistance.'"
