Stephen, case 5413, 1821, Residence: Woburn
Susanna, case 5413, 1821, Residence: Woburn
[The arrangement of Stephen and Susanna immediately after Ebenezer, indicates they are guardian files connected with Ebenezer's probate, showing he is their father, despite his advanced age. Note that the baptism records of Stephen and Susanna in Burlington erroneously identify them as children of Ebenezer Jr. The marriage to Lydia in 1810 follows the recorded death of Ebenezer Sr.'s first wife, Jemima, in 1809, and he has these two children by Lydia who are still minors when he dies, and hence they need guardians. Further note that the son Ebenezer, i.e., Ebenezer Jr., m. 1804 Ruth Skelton, and he died 1845, and she is still living in the 1850 census (3rd line here), living with her daughter Emeline Marion (listed on previous page), ruling him out as the Ebenezer who married Lydia Tay in 1810, even though he is of a similar age as Lydia.]
