    "4. Ebenezer Buell, of Lebanon and Litchfield. Conn., ninth child of John Buell, of Killingworth, Lebanon and Litchfield, Conn., was born at Lebanon, Conn., 16th March, 1713, and was taken with his father to Litchfield, Conn., in 1720, where he died 25th February, 1801, aged nearly eighty-eight years. 'Ebenezer Buell, when eighty years of age, rode on horseback from Litchfield, Conn., to Lebanon, N. Y., a distance of sixty miles, and returned the next day. A vigorous and hale old man.'
