This was Tressie's 2nd husband. Jackson lived "hand to mouth". He, Tressie and Clarence wprked picking ferns outside Centralia (Mayfield). He was jealous of CWL, had some sexual problems, and thought that there was something going on between CWL and Tressie. He beat up Tressie and tried to molest Irene. Irene left and lived with other people. Stanley had left a house trailer for Tressie to live in when she left Jackson and Irene and Frank Bray went to live with her there. Jackson Came there and beat up Tressie and stole her purse. Tressie worked in Algona during WWII and Jackson was aboard a ship. He came to try to "sweet talk" Tressie into coming back to him but she would have nothing to do with it. and divorced him shortly after.

Tressie had a house on Waller Road in Tacoma which CWL bought form her.
