DOROTHY was a professional genealogist, who was once hired by Earnest Wheaton (WeRelate page) of Indianapolis, Indiana, to search for documents relating to the Jacob KARNS family in Tuscarawas County. See pages on the Karns Family in these WeRelate pages for more information. Dorothy shared research data she prepared for Earnest Wheaton, with Kermit Karns, Loren Karns, and James Lower.

This compiler ("White Creek") was a correspondent of Dorothy, and had once met Dorothy, while on a visit to New Philadelphia, Ohio to do research.

Long after correspondence with Dorothy had ceased, this compiler became aware that Dorothy's husband's Glazier ancestors were descendants of the Glasser Family, from Waldgrehweiler, who settled in the Jefferson Township area, and who perhaps may have been related to the GEIBEL Family, who are central to "White Creek's" Palatine families.
