    Dorothy V. Precht, 84, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away March 12, 2010, at Sweet Life at Rosehill. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Maple Hill Funeral Home. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 16, 2010, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Dorothy was a homemaker for most of her life. She was also proud of her employment as a cook for Highland Jr. High and also at North American Aviation where she assisted in the making of B25 bombers. Dorothy was a longtime member of Emerson Park Christian Church.

    Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Anna Keating, husband Elmer, son David, brothers William and Donald. Survivors include daughter: Pam Warr; sons: Jim, Terry, Mike and John Precht; many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
