Dorothy L. Klinger MECHANICSBURG - Dorothy L. Klinger, 81, of Mechanicsburg, formerly of Lewistown, died at 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2001, at Manor Care, Carlisle.

Born March 11, 1920, in Lewistown, she was the daughter of the late Hazen and Elinor (Hudson) Bingaman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles K. Klinger.

Surviving are: sons, Gary L. Klinger, Mechanicsburg and Kenneth E. Klinger, New Bloomfield; a sister, Gladys Hutchinson, Allentown; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Hazen Bingaman Jr.

She was a graduate of Lewistown High School Class of 1937.

She was a retired telephone operator at Lewistown Hospital.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church Mechanicsburg, and the Mae Fetrow Sunday School Class.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Myers Funeral Home, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, with the Rev. Donald J. Ciampa officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Juniata Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewistown.

Friends may call 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.
