Dorotha "Dee Ann" Crumrine Wheeler, 87 of Lewisville, TX, went to be with the Lord on December 8, 2024.
Dorotha was born on March 3, 1937, in Pawhuska, OK, to Robert Crumrine and Lucille Williams Crumrine Hopkins in Pawhuska, OK. After Dorotha graduated from Pawhuska High School in 1955, she attended Oklahoma A&M.
She married her high school sweetheart, Francis Edward Wheeler Sr. and went on to have four children, Shelly, Tony, Francis Jr., and Richard. Though divorced, she remained a pillar of strength and support for her family and was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was a career executive and legal secretary for more than 30 years working for the Tulsa Education Service Center, The University of Tulsa, Blue Cross Blue Shield and AdvoCare. She was a proud Oklahoman and spent the greater part of the past three decades in the Dallas, TX area.
She was a lifelong Baptist and member in her later years at Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas, TX. Where she enjoyed attending services with her daughter and granddaughter's family.
She will be remembered for her kindness, penchant for details and recalling specific events and stories and her patience. Her passion was her family and watching the Kansas City Chiefs play football.
Dorotha was predeceased by her father Robert Henry Crumrine, mother Lucille Fern Williams Crumrine Hopkins, brother David Carl Crumrine, sister Carolyn Sue Crumrine Swope, stepfather C. Howard Hopkins and her longtime companion Rick Styles. She is survived by her children, Shelly Cahalen (Daniel), Tony (Vicki), Francis Jr. (Lisa), Richard (Jimmie) Wheeler, grandchildren Jacob Cahalen (Casie), Jessica Cahalen Tarangioli (Edward), Ty (Bailey), Whitney, Jared, Cody, Caleb Wheeler and great-grandchildren Presley, Cash, Chloe, Crew Cahalen; Gemma, Edward, Juliana Tarangioli; Blaine, Blair Wheeler.
