    Doris Bliven Saunders of Albion Wis., died May 30, 1983, in Stoughton, Wis., at the age of 81. She was born January 17, 1902, in Albion, the daughter of John and Jessie Van Horn Bliven.

    Doris was a lifetime member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church of Albion. She served the church in so many ways as a faithful servant of God, having joined on July 5, 1913. She was a charter member of the Albion Historical Society, serving as an officer at its beginning. She was a long time member of the Home Benefit Society, a part of the church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, who died in 1964. They were married March 15, 1924. To this union were born two daughters, Mrs. Jane Algrim of Milton, Wis., and Mrs. Joan Roush of Rockford, III. She is also survived by a brother, Horace; three grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and a number of good friends who loved her very much.

    Funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Robert E. Harris, at the Seventh Day Baptist Church of Albion on June 2, 1983.
