QUAY 3 Passed away, Wednesday 28 December1994 at St. Lukes Hospital following a lengthy illness. Age 66 years he was born 24 Oct 1928 in Saginaw. He married Mary Lou Tway on October 15, 1955. She surviv es him. Mr. Shay owned the Shay Water and Beverage Company, retiring in 1988 after over 40 years of service. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and served in the U. S. Navy fo r four years. He enjoyed racing stock cars at many local tracks. He received his 25 year sobriety coin from AA and for many years helped with the Boy Scout Troop 366 at First Presbyterian Church. Surviving besides his wife are three daughters, six sons and their spouses. Carolina; Sue Fisk and her husband Dan, Saginaw; John Shay and his wife Joyce, Saginaw; 15 grandchildren...He also leaves many friends..."
