Donald W. Overmier

Donald W. Overmier, 81, of N. TR 32, Clyde, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at the Heart of Florida Hospital in Davenport, Fla.

He was born March 28, 1923, in Helena to the late Lewis Haven and Glennis (Balsizer) Overmier. On July 3, 1948, he married Beatrice "Betty" (Turner) Overmier. She survives. Other survivors include: a son, Thomas D. Overmier of Northwood; three daughters, Linda Yates of Clyde, Patricia Overmier of Clyde and Joanne Nye of Burgoon; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was a WW II U.S. Army veteran.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home in Clyde. Burial will be in Green Springs Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Green Springs VFW and American Legion.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Tuesday and 11:30 a.m until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
