Don W. "Bill" Jackson, of Harristown died 6:45 a.m. Monday, June 15, 1992 in his home. Mr. Jackson was born in Kinmundy, son of Don C. and Wilma Gammon Jackson. He married Marilyn Orme in 1978.

His parents and one daughter, Yvonne, preceded him in death.

He was formerly a service manager for Illinois Bell, retiring in 1990 after 42 years of service. He was a hunter safety instructor, founder of Decatur Archery CLub, member of National Rifle Association, Telephone Pioneers of American, Boy Scout Leader, Indian Guide Princesses and chief steward IBEW Local 399 Unit 4.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Northwest Christian Church. Visitation was Wednesday in Northwest Christian Church. Dawson & wikoff West Wood Street Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Burial will be in Harristown Cemetery. Memorials: Northwest Christian Church.
