[obit] Digby Courier, 13 Mar 1980 Mrs Ellsworth Kenney, 87, of Ashmore, passed away on Tuesday, 26 Feb 1980at her home. Born in New Tusket, she was the former Della Althea Mullen, d/o of thelate John & Emma [Nichols] Mullen. She was a life member of the Baptist Missionary Society, and a member ofthe Ashmore Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was theorganist for a number of years. Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Lucy [Mrs Gordon Forsythe]Wolfville and Mrs Katherine Fitzgerald, Nanaimo, BC; two sons, Ronald andScott, both of Ashmore; ten grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren. The remains rested at R McCleave Funeral Home, Ltd. Weymouth. Funeralservice was held on Thursday, 28 Feb at Riverside Baptist Church,Weymouth North, Rev Lloyd Baker, officiating. Internment was in thechurch cemetery.
