In Albion, Wis., on Fifth-day, June 20th, 1872, after an illness of only four days, of erysipelas, and congestion of the lungs, Mrs. Diedamia D. W., wife of Barton Edwards, Esq., and daughter of the late Apheus M. and Abby S. Greene, in the 53d year of her age. Sister Edwards was born in the town of De Ruyter. N. Y. While yet a child, she removed to Friendship, and at the age of twelve years she embraced religion and united with the Seventh-day Church in that place. In the month of July, 1842, she came with her husband to Albion, Wis., and soon after the organization of the Albion Church she united with it, and continued a devoted and consistent member until she calmly ceased to breathe. The funeral was held on Sixth-day afternoon, June 21st.
