Deborah Dix, d/o Edward Dix, m. Richard Barns of Marlborough; 5 children.
["correction"] Deborah was not a daughter of Edward Dix, reputed to have sons Leonard Dix, John Dix and William Dix, first husband unknown.
[Note: the basis for this "correction" is unknown, needing more research, but clearly wrong, as the woman who was mother of Leonard Dix (old enough to get a grant of land by 1648) cannot be the mother of 6 (not 5) children born in the 1660s and 1670s. Further, Bond himself mentions a suit by "wid. Susanna Dix" to obtain her dowry, suggesting that Edward Dix did not even have a widow Deborah.]
