Dawne Ligman

Dawne Marcia Ligman, 72, of Banning died June 19, 2000, in Pioneertown.

She was born April 21, 1928, to Herbert and Muriel Inman in Boston.She married Walter J. Ligman on May 16, 1949, in Tacoma, Wash.

She retired from Security Pacific Bank in Indio as assistant manager, then worked for the Richard Bagdasarian Ranch.

She is survived by her son, John of Yucca Valley; her daughter, Marcia Ortegel of Twin Falls, Idaho; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Walter, in 1999.

Services were private.

The family suggests donations to the Visiting Nurse Association/Hospice, Yucca Valley.
