Am interested in David Sloan who married Catherine Statler in Botetourt County, VA (later became Roanoke County), veteran of War of 1812. Daughter Ellen Sloan married George Poage in Roanoke County, VA. David Sloan's father may have been Archibald Sloan of PA (?)
