First, I direct that my body be decently interred and that my funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding with my estate and situation in life and as such worldly estate as it has pleased God to intrust me with. I dispose of the same in the following manner to mine. I direct first that all my just debts be paid together with my funeral expenses as soon after my decease as possible, out of the first money that shall come into the hands of my executor.
Second, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife, Lydia, one hundred dollars so that she receives the same in place of all her right and title of dowry.
Third, I give and bequeath to my daughter, Hetty Blackburn, five dollars.
Fourth, I give and bequeath to the heirs of my late daughter, Roxy Stinchfield, fieve dollars.
