- ↑ David and Magdalena left Maryland for Missouri in 1841. They settled in Howard County, Missouri, where they purchased land four miles west of Fayette. At the end of four years he sold out his property, removing to the forks of Chariton, where he lived for the same length of time, then buying half of section 31, Keytesville Township.
