[Mills-10-10-04-AddOn_GM.GED] He was a Methodist minister. His death was recorded in several newspapers, including one in western Georgia. At the time of his death he had six children. I am reasonably sure about his birth and death dates and have seen his tombstone at the church. I am not as sure about his parents. Ferree entry officer of claims for lands in the County of Burke. to the surveyor of said county: Greetings: you are duty required to lay off & survey for Salathial Davis fifty acres of land on the waters of Camp Creek joining Ruth England including cancancy for compt the tract that Thos. Davis had surveyed. entered the 28 day of Oct. a.d. 1836 observing the direction of the act of assembly, in such case made and provided for running out lands, two just and fair plans of such survey, with a proper certificate annexed to each, you are to make out, to be transmitted, together with this warrant to the secretary's office. Given under my hand and seal, at office, the 23 day of March a.d. 1835. David D.
