[gedcom.ged] Also known as D'Amerex, David resided in 1642 in Middleburg, Isle of Walcheren, Zeland, Netherlands, joining a colony of Belgian and French refuges. In 1651, he resided in German Palatinate, Mannheirm on the Rhine. Sailing on 16 Apr 1663 from Amsterdam, David and his wife and four children arrived at New Amsterdam on board the vessel Bontekoe or "Spotted Cow". The childrens ages were 18, 11, 6, and 1 year respectively. Each adult was charged 39 florins for passage and board, children of ten years and under (except infants) half price. The bill for the '"esMarets" family was 175 florins, 10 silvers. References
