  8.   Did a search on Family Search and came up with parents of David Barnett as Byram Barnett, born in Sweden, and Isabella Monroe, married in Illinois.
    Further search on World Connect. Got lots of hits on Byram and Isabella with David as a son. Finally found several with children of David listed, and this is not my family.
  9.   There appears to have been a name change from Barnard to Barnett about 1812 to 1815.
