    Among those who were killed or died of wounds received in these engagements were Daniel Snow, of Col. Scammel's regiment, wounded Sept. 19, died Sept. 30; John Crossfield, of the same regiment, wounded Oct. 7, died Oct. 12; and Nathaniel Briggs, of Lt. Col. Reid's regiment, wounded Oct. 7, died Oct. 18, all of Keene. Snow is reported, on different rolls, both as "died of wounds Sept. 30th," and "killed in battle Oct. 7, 1777."
