Obituary 

 DANIEL SMITH, Spanish-American War veteran, died Monday morning at his home, 149 Greenland Drive, after a six months' illness.  Death was due to bronchial pneumonia.  Mr. Smith was an employee of Easy Washer Company 11 years.  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Anna Hosler Smith; two sons, Harold and Clifford Smith; one sister, Mrs. Jennie Nixon, and two brothers, Thomas and George Smith.  Services will be conducted at the home Wednesday at 2:30 P.M. by the Rev. Robert Barkley.  Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
