Page 5 Moses Crum, son of Francis Crum, was born Jan. 1, 1788 in Menallen Township Adams County, PA. He married Margarate Rex. She was the daughter of DANIEL REX who migrated with Francis Crum from Heidelberg Twp. to Menallen Twp. in 1780. Daniel served in the Revolutionary War first as a private and later as an Ensign. He was a son of Georg Rex noted above as one of the founders of the Heidelberg Union Church."
