About Daniel I. Reasor
Daniel Reasor was born in Montgomery County, Virginia and sometime after the death of his fat her in 1797 he moved to Tennessee where he was married in 1810. Sometime later, he and his wife Susannah, and his mother, migrated to Lee County, Virginia and settled in Turkey Cove where he became a landowner and prominent in the affairs of the County and the Community. Daniel Reasor left a will and in that will he names 11 children that lived to adulthood. He had two children that died young. The last will and testament of Daniel reasor deceased was proved by oaths, at a Court of Quarter Sessions begun and held for Lee County at the Courthouse thereof the 16th day of Novermber 1840.
