"Morehouse, Daniel, s. of Samuel. Ens., first company, Fairfield, May 1721. Born about 1679, d. at Fairfield, 24 May 1739 in 61 yr. (g. s.); m. Hannah Adams, dau. of Lt. Abraham. Aged 19, he testified Mar. 1698 to the nuncupative will of Sarah Merwin of Milford. He was called Sergt. at baptism of children, 1712 and 1714. Will of Ens. Daniel, 8 May 1738, proved 23 Jan. 1738/9; wife Hannah; daus. Katherine Tayler, Rebecca Wakeman; son-in-law Stephen Wakeman; gr. dau. Hannah Hill, my silver tankard; gr. son Daniel Hill; residue to son Abraham."
