" Lockwood, Daniel, s. of Robert. Born at Watertown, Mass., 21 Mar. 1640, d. at Fairfield in 1691; m. Abigail Sherwood, dau. of Thomas. Inv. 30 May 1691. Ages of children: Daniel 22, Abigail 17, Mary 10 (she very sickly and weak). The widow Abigail affirmed the inventory, refusing to swear. … On 26 June 1700, the widow and son Daniel who were to distribute the Est. of Daniel, Sr., being dec'd, and the youngest dau. Mary not having rec'd her portion, the widow of the younger Daniel was to distribute. Portion paid, 4 Mar. 1700/1, to Mary dau. of Daniel, Sr., now wife of Nathan Morehouse."
