    Dan Gross is Dead.

    Popular Young Man Died This Morning from the Influenza.

    Dan Gross, a young man 21 years of age, died at the home of his mother, 1001 Johnson street, at 7 o'clock this morning. Mr. Gross had been ill for several weeks with influenza. He had been up in North Dakota and shortly after reaching home became ill. The deceased was a fine young man and all who knew him will regret very much to hear of his death.

    To mourn his death he leaves a mother, Mrs. Anna Gross, three brothers, Orie, George and Chester, and four sisters, Miss Dorothy of Independence, Mrs. Katie Kimball, Mrs. Eva Baylis and Mrs. Stella Rees of Topeka.
