Robert Coleman of Fairfield District, "in consideration of the sum of one hundred and sixty too dollars", conveyed to "Daniel Goins Jr, Planter of the state aforesaid", a tract of land consisting of eighty-one acres, "situate in the State and Dist. aforesaid, bounded SE on John Neils land, North on land belonging to the estate of James Beckets and NW Bittons, W by Daniel Goins land and SE by Bryant Capes land, which with more plainly appears on plat here unto made by Brain Ferguson DS". A plat and surveyor's certificate appears at pages 481-82, which indicates this tract was "situate in the District of Fairfield on branch waters of Dutchmans creek and Wateree creak [sic] waters".
