    "10. Daniel3 Eldredge (son of Capt. Daniel2 and Mary _____?) was born in Stonington, Conn., 20 March 1689-90. … He d. in Groton, Sunday, 13 March 1736-7 (Hemp. Diary:316). Daniel3 Eldredge was Deputy for Groton in May and Sept. 1727, May 1730, May 1734, and Lieut, in Oct. 1730; he was Captain of the 3rd Company in Groton, May 1733 (Colonial Records of Connecticut, VII:88. 120, 221, 267, 303, 456, 482). The will of Daniel Eldredge of Groton, dated 5 March 1736-7; probated 26 April 1737, names 'dearly beloved wife, Abigail Eldredge, well-beloved son, Daniel; my four daughters: Abigail, wife of Ichabod Packer, Zerviah, wife of James Packer; Sarah Eldredge and Bathsheba Eldredge'. A photostatic copy of this will is on file in the Library of the New York Genealogical and Biographical Society."
