    DANIEL D. DALY
    DORSET - Daniel D. Daly, 77, died at his home Sunday. He was born in Dorset Jan 10, 1883, son of Daniel and Susan (McDevitt) Daly.
    Mr. Daly had worked in the marble quarry in Dorset as a young man. He installed marble in the Erie Canal when it was built.
    Employed for thirty years by Standard Oil Co. of New Jersey as a laboratory technician, he retired 12 years ago and returned to Dorset to live in the house where he was born.
    He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Kaissan, several nieces and nephews.
    A requiem high Mass will be sung Wednesday at 9 from St. Jerome's Church, East Dorset with the Rev. Joseph F. Connelly officiating. Burial will be in St. Jerome's Cemetery.
    Friends may call at Brewster Funeral Home, Manchester Center, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The Rev. Connolly will recite the Rosary Tuesday at 8:45 pm.
