   Chris Chester argues that Daniel was NOT the son of Adam Brouwer and provides a couple of reasonable alternatives. Given that Adam and Magdalena's eldest child was baptized almost 32 years before Daniel, it is highly unlikely that he was Magdalena's child - a spread of birth years in the children of one woman of 25 1/2 years (Pieter to Nicholas) is already larger than usual and any greater spread is virtually unheard of.
