Farmington, 1810. … Dan received from his father, by will, a farm on the mountain at Kensington, southwest of Solomon's. Dan's house was on the north side of the road a few rods west of the residence of Charles Moore. Dan served in the Revolutionary War and had (besides Ezekiel) two sons in the service, William and Ira, the latter of whom fell at Bunker Hill. Dan was at Newgate, Ct., m 1775; he was a soldier in 1759. Dan in old age lived with his son-in-law, Joseph Dutton, in Farmington; died at the home of his dau., Mrs. Candace Richards, in Bristol, Ct, a few rods from Dutton's."
