This may be the Dezso Fodor listed in the 1900 US census, born Jan 1878, living as a boarder in Passaic, New Jersey, in the same household as another boarder, Joseph Fodor. Dezso Fodor immigrated to the US in Dec 1898, giving his age as 28, indicating that he was going to live with his brother in Passaic. His previous residence is listed as "Cseaztnek" (presumably Csesznek, Veszprem, Hungary). There does not appear to be a record for him in Passaic in the 1910 census.
