Major battles his unit fought in during his term of service are as follows: Resaca, GA May 13-16, 1864; Kenesa Mountain, GA June 27, 1864; Mickajack Creek, GA July 2-5, 1864, Atlanta, GA July 22, 1864; Siege of Atlanta, GA July 28--to Sept 2, 1864; Jonesboro,GA Aug 31-Sept 2, 1864; Fort McAllister, GA 13 Dec 1864; and Bentonville, NC March 19-21 1865.
