Cornelius (Fisher), clerk, baptized in Syleham, Suffolk, 19 August 1599; died in East Bergholt about 1641; … In his will, written 23 May 1638, proved in December 1641, Cornelius Fisher of East Bergholt bequeathed to "my three brothers Joshua, Anthony and Amos" and "my two systers, Marie Briggs and Martha Bucingham," to "my father and mother" during their natural lives, my part in one tenement and certain land in Sileham called Wignotte"; to "my wife Elizabeth" copyhold land in East Bergholt.
