VAN ARKEL Kase At Memorial Hospital, St. Marys on Friday, February 28, 2003, Cornelis Kase Van Arkel, of R. 1, St. Marys, in his 79th year; beloved husband of Joan Van Arkel nee Van Triest; loving father of Wilma and John Duizer of St. Marys, Marianne Detmar, Reinie and Jim De Boer, and John Detmar, all of Brantford; sadly missed by eight grandchildren, Christine and Greg Agnew, Cindy and Belford Boakes, Jeff and Amanda Detmar, Pauline Goodall and Ron Kerr, Stephen Detmar, Suzanne and Brian Schiedel, Scott De Boer and Stephanie De Boer; dearly loved great-grandfather of Jennifer, Jessica, Deven and Olivia; predeceased by his parents Reinier and Mina Van Arkel, and brother Peter Van Arkel. Relatives and friends will be received by the family at the ROBT. G. SASS FUNERAL HOME, 47 Wellington Street South, St. Marys on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p. m. The Funeral Service will be held at St. Marys Presbyterian Church, Widder Street East, St. Marys on Monday, March 3, 2003 at 11 a. m. with Rev. Dr. Rick Horst officiating. Interment St. Marys Cemetery. In his memory, memorial donations may be made to the St. Marys Presbyterian Church or the charity of your choice.
