Since we know of no previous marriage by David Livingston, the date of birth is suggestive that this may be the child of Koenraad Schols and Matilda Pippel. That conclusion is further supported by the fact that the death index lists her parent as Pippel, and that in the 1920 census, Cora lists the birthplace for both of her parents as the Netherlands. If she were the daughter of David Livingston, she would have listed the birthplace for her father as Canada.
