Bio: Age 55, daughter of the late Helen M. Johnson. She lived in Erie for 52 years.

She taught in the City of Erie School District, including Wayne Middle School. She was a former substitute teacher at Wilson Middle School and East and Strong Vincent high schools. She graduated from East High School. She received her bachelor's degree in social studies and her master's degree in education from Gannon University. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and its various organizations. She enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include two brothers, K.C. Moss and his wife, Charlotte, of Dayton, Ohio, and Larry Carpenter and his wife, Ruby, of Erie; two sisters, Flora "Penny" Thomas and Susie Moss of Erie; an aunt; several nieces and nephews; and many cousins.

Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery.

TUNNELL Constance Johnson Tunnell, 55, 440 E. 15th St., formerly of 452 E. 38th, Monday, October 28, 2002, at her residence. Sister of Flora "Penny" Thomas, Susie Moss and Larry (Ruby) Carpenter all of Erie and K.C. (Charlotte) Moss of Dayton, OH. Also survived by an aunt, several nieces and nephews and many relatives and friends. Friends may call at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 1813 Schaal Ave., Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and may attend a funeral service at the church Friday at 2 p.m. conducted by Rev.
