    Clinton T. Farmer, 87, Kansas City, died Saturday, October 23, 1976, at a nursing home there.

    He was born in Putnam County and later moved to Cameron with his parents and family. Except for a few years of residence in Colorado, Mr. Farmer lived all of his life in Missouri, where he was pastor of Methodist Churches in different localities.

    Mr. Farmer and his wife moved to Independence in 1942 where she preceded him in death in 1971. He entered the nursing home a few months ago after living on Northern Boulevard. He was a member of the Northern Boulevard United Methodist Church.

    He leaves two brothers, Harold D. Farmer, Kerrville, Texas, and Ivan M. Farmer, Lakewood, California; two sisters, Mrs. Florence Lohner, Fairfield, Iowa, and Mrs. Grace TenEyck, Leawood, Kansas. He is also survived by one grandson, James R. Holloway, Kansas City, Kansas.

    The funeral was at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 26, at the Northern Boulevard United Methodist Church. A graveside service was held at Monroe Cemetery in Ludlow at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
