Big Bend Empire 16 Oct 1919: ORONDO ORCHARD SOLD - Mrs. C. A. Miles of Orondo has sold her fruit ranch of 27 acres, located two miles north of Orondo, to C. L. Atwood of Wenatchee. The deal was handled by the Big Four Real Estate Co., and Mr. Atwood paid $15,375 for the place. There are 13 acres of apple orchard on the tract, of which a large majority are Winesaps. There is also a small percentage of Delicious.
