CLEMATIS 'CONNIE' ALBERT NORTH BUCKSPORT - Clematis "Connie" Wardwell Albert, 71, went to be with the Lord, June 3, 2002. She was born Oct. 4, 1930, in Bangor, the daughter of John and Violet (White) Tripp. Connie was a member of the East Orrington Congregational Church. She was a past president of the Auxiliary of Maurice Miles VFW Post No. 4527 and the Auxiliary of the Military Order of Cooties both of Orrington. Surviving are her husband James "Buster" Albert; two children, Forrest Wardwell Jr., and his wife, Karen, Candice and her husband, Michael Jewett; one sister, Clover and her husband, James Chiarell; one brother, John D. Tripp Jr., and his wife, Phyllis, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her first husband, Forrest Wardwell; one sister, Cynthia Colpitts; five brothers, Clairoy, Richard, Cyril, Chester, and Calvin. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 5, 2002, at Brookings-Smith, Clark-Piper Chapel, 55 South Main St., Brewer. A funeral Service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, at the East Orrington Congregational Church, 38 Johnson Mill Rd., Orrington, with the Assistant Pastor Adam Soderberg, officiating. The family invites relatives and friends to share conversation and refreshments following the services Thursday at the East Orrington Congregational Church Fellowship Hall. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Friday, at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Orrington.
