By 1900, Clarence B. is in CO, in Fruita, where Lafayette also lives. Here he is no longer a farmer, but is listed as a house painter. His wife now is a Laura A. to whom he has been married four years. She has no children. None of Clarence's other children are with him. By 1910 they have moved on to Chico, CA. The last two censuses of 1920 and 1930 show them in Tacoma, WA. In 1920 only, son Wellington H. Jones with his wife and two children live with Clarence and Laura. The grandchildren were both born in WA implying that they have been in WA for ten years.
