Hope you're not tired of reading my emails....just doing some catching up.

Herbert D. Gardner (I had earlier thought the middle intial was "C") "Danksie" born August 4, 1909 and died May 29,1996 at the Hilltop Nursing Home in Owingsville, Bath county KY. This is according to his death certificate #14699. He was never married. His occupation was listed as Sawmill Operator. His parents are listed as Clarence Gardner and Martha Stephens. The informant's name is Sander THompson ( I believe this is Opal's youngest daughter) Herbert is buried in the Long View Cemetery, Bethel KY.

Also Harlen married Sadie Purvis, appears to be March 21, 1922. Harlen's age 41 and Sadie's age 22.

Also the daughter of Clarence and Martha Gardner, Opal Alice Gardner Williams was born 2/27/1922 and died Dec 28, 1986 at the Fleming County Hospital from acute myocardial infraction? due to coronary artery disease. This is according to her death certificate #86 33157. Her father is listed as Clarence Gardner and mother as Martha Stephesn..(Stephens). The informant is listed as Barbara Glass (daughter). Burial is Longview Cemetery in Bethel KY. Opal married Dennie Williams............date unknown at this time. They had 2 children that I know of ......Barbara and Sandra. Sandy was one year ahead of me in Fleming county High School I think ......might have been the same grade I can't remember.

The only other item that I have right now is Walter Gardner, Clarence's younger brother, married miss Martha Riddle........can't remember the date have it somewhere....... this is her death certificate information...I can't seem to find his. Mrs Martha Gardner certificate # 27456. Born Feb 24, 1888 and died Oct 27, 1934 of cancer of the Breast. Married to Walter Gardner. Her father is listed as Harison Riddle born Fleming county ky and mother listed as Rachel ?Croffer born Lewis county ky. Informant Walter Gardner of Plummers Landing KY.
