Clarence never married. Can be found in federal census records for 1880, 1900, 1910, 1920, 1930, and 1940. Also has a WWII draft registration card. Clarence seems to have lived at the Melba Hotel in Ft Worth TX for the last 10 or so years of his life. He had a colorful work history: 1910 - singer, 1918 - shipping clerk, 1920 - manager in a meat plant (Armour perhaps?), 1930 - foreman at Armour Company, 1940 - waiter and dishwasher, 1942 - unknown position at Ellis Pecan Company, 1946 - restaurant employee.
