    Final Rites For Clara Hagar, 80, Of LaPlata.

    Clara Isabell Hagar, 80, of LaPlata died at 6:30 this morning (Dec. 21, 1977) in a hospital in Fulton where she had been a patient since Nov. 1.

    The daughter of David L. and Lizzie Melinda Gillaspie Rash, she was born July 16, 1897 in Appanoose county, Iowa. On Apr. 6, 1912 she was married to Robert Hatfield and to this mariage three sons were born. On Sept. 8, 1932 in Macon, she was married to Herman Hagar who preceded her in death on Sept. 12, 1967. Also preceding her in death were two sons; one brother; one sister and three grandchildren, including Billy Hagar on May 30.

    Surviving are three sons, Don Hatfield of Moline, Ill., Archie Hagar of LaPlata and Roy Hagar of LaPlata; five daughters, Mrs. Richard (Colleene) Hunter of Kansas City, Mrs. Bill (Peggy) Loe of LaPlata, Mrs. Wallace (Nadine) Joiner of Kansas City, Fern Gardner of Ft. Madison, Iowa and Mrs. Leland (Marjorie) Buck of Canton; two brothers, Howard Rash of LaPlata and Charlie Rash of Yarrow; one sister, Velma Johnson of Burley, Idaho; 30 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

    Mrs. Hagar resided in the Marceline area before moving to LaPlata in 1937.

    She was a member of the LaPlata Assembly of God Church.

    Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon (Dec. 23,1977) at 1:30 at the Assembly of God church in LaPlata. The Rev. Glenn Brewer, pastor of the LaPlata Assembly of God Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in the LaPlata cemetery.
